Upscale RV Resorts* is a list of RV resorts that meet certain requirements. The list is compiled by volunteers and members of the Upscale RV Resorts* Facebook Group. All resorts in the Upscale RV Resorts list must meet certain requirements as outlined below.
Luxury RV Resorts
Upper-Tier Resorts that typically cater to seasonal renters or owners who come to the resort because the resort is a destination itself. Luxury resorts typically have more social interaction and activities.
- Big rig friendly – most cater primarily or exclusively to motorcoaches
- 50 amp Service with full hookups
- Paved roads
- Paved RV sites
- Large patios to accommodate outside dining, grill, etc.
- Resort pool (climate permitting)
- Social activities and encourage social interaction
- Landscaping between sites
- Fitness opportunities (exercise, tennis, pickleball, golf)
- Clubhouse where social activities are scheduled
Upscale RV Resorts
Resorts that are the nicest available in a particular area that appeal to vacationers and short-term renters looking for an upscale resort or campground near a major attraction, e.g., a national park or beach. Requirements Include:
- Big rig friendly – accommodates motorcoaches
- 50 amp Service with full hookups
- Paved or firmly packed gravel roads
- Paved or firmly packed gravel RV sites
- Paved or firmly packed gravel patios
- Resort pool (climate permitting) or other outdoor amenities
- Social events or activities
It is not required that resorts be class A only. We welcome your resort recommendations and information about new and existing RV Resorts.
